Clear top debris, roots, stones, bricks, plastic... etc
Then put piles and piles of leaves and sticks down on top.
Then place full hay bales over the central part of the garden and allow spaces for access.
I have found mountains of rotting leaf mould at the golf course. So I will approach them and see if they want to fulfill some 'CSR' ;} )
(Update: I spoke to the Head Groundsman at the Local Golf Club and He showed Me all the piles of rotted leaf mulch I Can get.
I already laid some over another project before Christmas 2020.
We are running behind a bit, but Spring's onset has Been gradual.
